This CWG cemetery is located within the 5 Wing base area but is not in any restricted area so is accessible to the public. A forest fire has burnt right upto the edge of the cemetery at some point.

I addition to the service burials there are a number of civilian graves mostly post war the majority of them identified as infants likely from outlying communities.

The weather was cold and very overcast hence the quality of these shots

Return visit 2019. Still those moody skies.

The CWGC describes it as " located in the Labrador wilderness, but it is accessible by road. The cemetery is located approximately two kilometres past the Canadian Forces Base Arena."
